Be sure to place ver shaftL/D control lever in "D" before R&R of load control shaft cover shaft with oil before installing. I failed to locate L/D control seals/bushings in YT parts. /Link

WebMay 27, 2024 · Deere has updated the old style seals on the 20 series tractors, not sure what the 4430 had originally, but the 40 series have a bushing wth a groove for an o-ring and a plastic ring that touches the shaft. The older 20 series tractors had plain bushings, without the groove for the o-ring and then a separate seal outboard of the bushing. WebJan 8, 2014 · You can get all three from boling machine and there made in the USA. They have the load control shaft($95), seals($55), and bushing set($50). I think 99% of the people posting about the load shaft seals fail to realize that even the later 20 series have the exact same seal configuration as the highly touted "aftermarket" seals.
