WebHvar vs Brac vs Korcula. We are traveling to Croatia for 3 weeks in June 2024 and our plans include visiting Hvar, Brac and Korcula. We have about 8 nights devoted to the islands but with travel time between each it's starting to feel a little rushed on each island. WebDue to travel arrangements, we thought of going to Brac rather than Vis. Any recommendations? Our initial plan was to go to Hvar, Vis, Korcula then Dubrovnik, but I see one needs to go back to Split in order to go to Vis, but I am not to sure about Brac, did not do my homework on it yet. We will be there for 12 full days, not including … WebBrac and Hvar are both beautiful. Hvar is busier and more cosmopolitan. In summer, there are lots of parties on docked boats a-la St. Tropez! It has a good selection of shops and restaurants, nice beaches and there is plenty to explore if you take a car and move away from the main ports. Also, Hvar has more sunny days than anywhere else in Croatia.

Hvar town was heaving earlier this week so I’d probbaly give that a swerve, Bol was quiet and pleasant yesterday. Stari Grad might be worth a look also ? I’ve not been to Vis, but I’m hoping to next year :-)
