The oldest part of the church, the lower tower, dates from the 15th century, and there are several later additions and restorations. WebPhilip John North CMP (born 2 December 1966) is a bishop in the Church of England. Since February 2015, he has been Bishop of Burnley, a suffragan bishop in the Diocese of Blackburn. He was previously team rector of the parish of Old St Pancras. On 10 January 2024, he was announced as the next Bishop of Blackburn. [1]
