Datastage job status command
WebJan 13, 2003 · The job status is not the actual status, but the status the last time the status was recorded. This is a value in the RT_STATUS table for the particular job in the DataStage repository. So the job may actually be finished or stopped (possibly abnormally), but didnt get the chance to update its status information. WebMar 8, 2007 · For server jobs there is one process (executing DSD.RUN) controlling the job and zero or more other processes (executing DSD.StageRun) which are child processes of the controlling process. Find and kill any child processes before killing the controlling process, lest you create UNIX zombie processes (which are very hard to kill!).
