WebI would enjoy a mage build as well, but I've heard it makes the game too easy. AoE spells are what caused me to beat Dragon Age too easily (blood mage) so I'm trying to enjoy the combat, which is what I find the most enjoyable in this game. Try playing it the way it's meant to be played, with friendly fire on.
