The gates underneath the recently installed levee have been damaged and, as a result, the CBD will now bear the full impact of the flood. Police are providing assistance with the emergency evacuation and we urge people to stay out of the CBD. Web28 de feb. de 2024 · The river has now well and truly breached the major flood level mark of 3.5m in the city but remains below the 4.46m reached in 2011 and the 5.45m reached in 1974 . This situation is not over yet, and water levels are expected to remain elevated for several days. But at least it has finally stopped raining in the city.
