ADH is produced in the Supraoptic nucleus Paraventricular nucleus of the hypothalamus and secreted from the posterior pituitary. WebHyponatremia frequently occurs in patients with brain pathology, including concussion, intracranial hemorrhage, encephalitis, meningitis, and CNS tumors. It is most commonly due to SIADH or less commonly glucocorticoid deficiency.
