I have twisted the stock old late 60's rods in the 327 and the 350's and 302's to 8000+ RPM. My 350 even had the stock gm bolts. Torqued by stretch of course. That 350 seen many 7600+ rpm runs. The small journal 327 could use better bolts as they are small.
